My Father from Sirius

Feature documentary

My Father from Sirius had its national premiere 11.11.2016 and international premiere at Warsaw International Film Festival 12.10.2016.

Einari’s childhood could have been like that of any other Finnish boy, but everything changed when his father was enlightened and started communicating with light
beings from Outer Space.”

Einari’s childhood could have been like that of any other Finnish boy. His father, Veikko, was an ordinary guy with a job at the local tax office and his mother worked as a radio journalist. Everything changed when Einari was 12 years old; Veikko experienced enlightenment and announced that he was a messenger between Earth and Outer Space. Henceforth, Veikko could see extraterrestrial beings, contact the afterlife and display supernatural healing abilities. Einari and Veikko became a team and the entire universe was open to them. Now, 25 years later, Einari confronts his father with his doubts.

Directors note:

After my father’s spiritual awakening, I became his apprentice. I started to have visions and experience things that only my father could explain. My father told me about my past lives and took me too see UFOs. He said that in our past lives we had been brothers in Sirius. As a 12-year-old boy, I was thrilled to bits and felt priviledged compared to my friends. None of their fathers was a superhero. I too wanted to become a healer and receive messages from space like him. But I never did. Later, as an adult, I started to have doubts. What really happened in my childhood? This film is my journey to face my father and an attempt to find out the truth.
